Lead Based Paint

Cedar Hill Home Inspection does not test or identify lead based paint in homes. Identifying lead paint accurately is a special profession. Lead based paint inspectors MUST be licensed by the State of Connecticut Department of Health. Visit the State of CT website for more information.

Beginning in April 2010 ALL renovations on home constructed before 1978 must comply with the Federal EPA Renovate Right Guidelines. ALL contractors performing renovations on these homes MUST be certified by the Federal EPA. Renovations include interior and exterior of the home. See the State of CT Department of Public Health for more information. Protect your health use a Certified contractor on your pre-1978 home!
